Employer description Amicus Trust has been supporting the homeless community since its origins as a soup kitchen in 1974, it has grown to now provide 400 rooms in approximately 80 houses across the East of England. Responsibilities: This is a great opportunity to work for a growing organisation and to develop your future career. You will be expected to do the following: Log support issues. Know how to troubleshoot technical faults relating hardware/software and provide 1st / 2nd line hardware / software support. Document system changes. Support and manage Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, and work across Azure-based tools such as Intune, Entra ID, 365 Admin, Exchange online and Purview. Schedule tasks such as backups and software updates. Remote desktop and server support. You will liaise with and work alongside the IT Manager and IT officer. Desirable skills: Have a passion for IT. Driving licence (or working towards one). Willing to travel occasionally to provide onsite support at other offices. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills. Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be able to prioritise and have effective time management skills. A logical thinker and natural problem solver, technically minded and enthusiastic. Punctual, hardworking and able to demonstrate initiative. Entry requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
