ProblemShared recognises that across the counselling and psychotherapy profession in the UK there are many different courses and therapeutic approaches. Within these trainings the approach to learning varies widely from academic/research based training and knowledge to holistic - body, mind and spiritual learning.
We welcome the creation of a rich and diverse community of practice to meet the needs of clients and enhance our profession.
ProblemShared is committed to creating an online community of excellence and offering clients high quality, professionally qualified and experienced practitioners and so believe a rigorous recruitment process is essential to building credibility and trust in our community.
We have therefore based our selection criteria on the requirements set out by BACP for registration and eligibility for accreditation and the current draft SCoPEd training and competency framework (July 2020).
We currently have three groups of practitioners which make up the ProblemShared Community of Practice;
* Category A & B: Platform user, general referrals, university partner referrals
* Category C: Platform user, general referrals, university and insurance company referrals
