Overview

Empowering a Young Man's Independence (Burtonwood, Warrington) – an Assistant Manager with a proven ability to inspire and lead is needed. A dynamic individual is sought to join a supportive team in Burtonwood, Warrington. The candidate will play a pivotal role in empowering a young man with learning disabilities, Tourette's, OCD and complex needs to live his best life possible. This is a unique opportunity to make a profound and lasting difference in someone's life. You will lead by example, promote independence, foster an engaged team of Specialist Advanced Support Workers, and champion person-centred outcomes.

Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate a team of Specialist Advanced Support Workers to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
* Support an adult with learning disabilities, Tourette\'s, OCD and complex needs to lead the best life possible.
* Promote independence and champion person-centred outcomes.
* Participate in leadership tasks and contribute to service development within Burtonwood, Warrington.


What you\'ll bring

* A professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 with supervisory units, or Care Management Level 3 in England).
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours requiring intensive support planning and management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and a calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
