Location: Surrey Type: Permanent Salary: £22,500 Per Annum (Based on 22.5 hours per week) Orka Financial are working with a growing business based in the Surrey area who are looking for an experienced and proactive Bookkeeper who will be required to manage the day-to-day financial operations for the business. This hands on role suits someone who is confident working independently and capable of handling a broad range of financial and administrative tasks. This role will be on a part time basis doing 22.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end bookkeeping. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare cash flow forecasts, management accounts, and financial reports. Handle payroll processing and commission calculations. Prepare and submit VAT returns. Liaise with internal staff, subcontractors, and external accountants. Support HR administration and subcontractor compliance. Provide general administrative support as needed. Key Skills/Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounts administration. Strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar software). High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills. Salary - £22,500 per year based on a 22.5 hour working week.
