We are seeking a Part-time Hourly Lecturer to join our Fashion Communication and Fashion Marketing teams. The role involves preparing and delivering on-campus and digital sessions, including lectures, workshops, and tutorials, covering various aspects of student learning. Responsibilities also include assessment, administrative tasks such as taking registers, preparing course materials, and writing tutorial notes.
The ideal candidate will have experience and skills in Fashion Writing and Journalism, support students in taking creative risks, and address global challenges. They should advocate for the cultural, social, and economic benefits of the arts and share the University's values.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, along with professional and/or teaching experience in a related field. UK higher education teaching experience is preferred.
Teaching sessions are typically scheduled in 3-hour blocks from 09:30 onwards, usually including one or two blocks per day. This position offers up to 150 hours across the academic year, primarily on Mondays.
