Position Overview: Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ground Hardware Architect to support a Phantom Works Fixed Wing Proprietary Program in Berkeley, MO. You will be responsible for all phases of the hardware design and development lifecycle, including requirements and interface definition, architectural design, procurement & supplier management, and integration of Edge compute, communications, and encryption hardware for Ground Segment development.
The successful candidate will oversee the Ground Segment Hardware Architecture and Design, ensuring all performance, interface, and requirements are met. Key capabilities include:

Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements for complex projects.
* Translate complex requirements into system architecture, hardware designs, and interfaces.
* Conduct testing and validation to ensure operational and functional requirements are satisfied.
* Develop program test strategies in collaboration with other teams.
* Manage critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance.
* Perform independent reviews and report findings to leadership.
* Provide support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
* Research technological advances for potential application to business needs.
Additional Details:
* This position is 100% onsite at one of the designated locations.
* Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
* Final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start.
* Ability to obtain Special Program Access is required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* 14+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's, or 12+ years with a Master's, or PhD with relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with network and communication systems.
* Experience with Cloud and Edge computing systems.
* Familiarity with multi-domain security hardware and certification efforts.
* Experience with ground-based mission planning and debrief systems.
Additional Information: This role offers relocation assistance based on eligibility. The salary range is $143,650 - $194,350. Applications accepted until June 15, 2025.
