CSS Officer (Level 3) - Mid & East Antrim Borough Council - Ballymena Mid & East Antrim Borough Council is seeking a CSS Officer (Level 3). This role offers the opportunity to lead on project delivery, provide strategic advice, and support continuous improvement across council services. About the role:
1. £19.60 per hour
2. 37 hours per week (working outside of normal office hours may be required)
3. Temporary - 3 months

What you'll be doing in this role
5. Provide advice and guidance to officers across Council on matters of policy, regulation and legislation in your area.
6. Prepare management information, letters, memos, reports, presentations and other documents for review by management.
7. Collate, assign & manage queries, from internal and external stakeholders and assess the information against legislative frameworks and policies before compiling responses to issues for review.
8. Process and input relevant information and data to systems in line with agreed processes and procedures, identifying any issues and raising them to management.
9. Order goods and services for the department as requested ensuring best value for Council.
10. Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of service.
What you'll need for this role
11. A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy.
12. Alternatively, if you do not have 5 GCSEs you should demonstrate 4 years’ experience to include a qualification in English Language and Maths.
13. 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment to include at least 4 of the following: Maintaining filing systems and records, Note/Minute taking, Diary management, Ability to deal effectively with competing demands by prioritising work tasks, Managing emails, Dealing and responding to internal and external customer queries, Use of Microsoft packages, Use of financial accounting software, Processing, managing or calculating payments
14. A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a vehicle or if a disability prevents being able to drive, have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post.
