ROLE: Proactive Events Sales & Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Ipswich, Suffolk
SALARY: £40 - £45,000 per year, plus bonus

A beautifully appointed luxury Manor House Hotel near Ipswich, Suffolk is seeking a proactive, commercially minded Hotel Events Sales Manager to grow our Corporate and Conference business and help shape our future success.
About the Role:
As Hotel Events Sales Manager, youll be the face and voice of our venue leading from the front in identifying new business, nurturing key accounts and driving revenue across multiple channels.
Youll be responsible for:
Building strong, lasting relationships with corporate clients and event partners
Proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities
Representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events, exhibitions, and open days
Collaborating with hotel teams to ensure seamless client experiences that turn into long-term partnerships
Supporting brand visibility through local PR and creative sales campaigns
What Were Looking For:
A proven track record in hotel sales (ideally corporate/conference)
Strong market awareness and confidence with B2B sales strategies
A well-connected network and passion for hospitality
A self-starter attitude with the drive to exceed targets
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential as client visits will be required 1 day a week.
