Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Life Practitioner to join our team. The role involves providing essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting with daily activities and accompanying them on trips into the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist individuals with daily living activities.
* Support individuals in community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings.
* Accompany individuals on trips and visits to local community assets.
* Operate the company vehicle safely and maintain a full UK driver’s licence (or have driven in the UK for at least 2 years).
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for care and motivation to contribute to others’ progression.
* Strong team player with resilience and confidence to ask for support.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.
* Valid full UK driver’s licence (or 2+ years driving in the UK).
Location
Tigh Cranntail, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Salary
Starting rates are £12.71 per hour (Level 1) and increase to £13.60 per hour for those with experience (Level 3). Salary progression is available through our competency framework.
