Your new role As a Precast Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of a wide range of precast concrete solutions. You will work closely with internal engineering, production, and project management teams, as well as external consultants and contractors.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Producing detailed precast concrete designs, drawings, and schedules
2. Carrying out structural analysis and ensuring designsply with relevant codes and standards
3. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design queries
4. Supporting manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production
5. Providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through to installation
6. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across design processes and product development
What you'll need to succeed
7. A degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline
8. Experience in precast or reinforced concrete design (industry or placement experience considered)
9. Strong CAD skills; experience with Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar
10. Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant industry standards
11. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
12. Strongmunication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
