Duties
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
* Support cooking staff by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.
* Help with the serving of food during meal times, ensuring high standards of presentation.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
* Assist with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure fresh ingredients are always used.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
* Receiving and storing deliveries.
* Helping with waste management and recycling.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
* Basic culinary skills or experience in food preparation is advantageous.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
* A genuine interest in hospitality and a passion for food service.
