About the role
We're looking for a strategic leader to drive our digital sales growth across multiple sectors. You'll be hands-on in selling our digital solutions, then transition to mentoring and building a high-performing sales team. The focus is on creating a scalable sales strategy, developing strong pipelines, and promoting innovative digital products to maximise market opportunities.
What you will bring to the role:
* Lead the promotion and sales of MVP digital solutions, using customer insights and value-led approaches to drive early adoption and market fit.
* Develop and implement strategies for converting freemium users to paying customers, leveraging solution-based sales tactics to address specific pain points.
* Oversee pipeline development by guiding the team in tracking, qualifying, and nurturing leads 70% of which are warm across multiple industries.
* Collaborate with Customer Success and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding, high conversion rates, and long-term customer satisfaction.
* Use data analytics and CRM tools to monitor performance, inform strategic decisions, and continuously improve sales effectiveness.
* Drive the digital sales strategy with autonomy, accountable for achieving growth targets and mentoring a core team of 3 while influencing the broader sales force.
About you:
* Extensive sales leadership and hands-on experience in SaaS environments, ideally with exposure to freemium models and user conversion strategies.
* Background in Pharma, Food, or Mining sectors is highly desirable, with a strong grasp of selling complex technical products and solutions.
* Proven ability to lead across the full 360° sales cycle from prospecting and presentations to closing deals and managing post-sale relationships.
* Skilled in market analysis and customer research, using insights to shape strategy, drive sales, and deliver value-based solutions.
* Exceptional communicator with strong negotiation skills, able to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels and navigate objections effectively.
* Data-driven, resilient, and adaptable with a start-up mentality, a strategic mindset, and a passion for achieving ambitious targets.
