Full-Time Receptionist Position
Location: Northwich
Duration: ASAP -July 2026
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Position Type: Full-time, temporary 4-6 weeks
We are seeking a professional and welcoming receptionist to join a primary school team on a 4-6 basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in an educational environment while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors
Handle multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately
Manage student sign-ins/sign-outs and maintain visitor logs
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
Support the main office with general clerical duties
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive student and staff information
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Ideal Candidate:
Previous reception or administrative experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Reliable and punctual with strong organisational skills
Experience working with young people is advantageous
