Temporary until 29th June 2027. Monday - Friday Stoneyhill Primary School was built in 1996 and is a non-denominational primary school situated at the west end of Musselburgh. The school caters for children from ages 3 to 12. There are 9 classes from P1-P7 in the school with 191 pupils expected to start the 25_26 School Session. There is also a 48 week nursery catering for 3 and 4 year olds with two groups of 24 children attending half the week each. Set within a pleasing landscaped area, the main school is a semi-open plan design. There are four closed classrooms, with two used for whole school music and Article 31 Playroom. In addition there is a Library/Meeting room, offices, medical room and sports hall. The school is accessible to those with physical disabilities. The school also has a kitchen, which enables the pupils to have a packed lunch or a cafeteria hot meal of the day. There are attractive grounds around the school with a garden which the Parent Council are helping to develop. Closed circuit television and an effective intruder alarm system protect the school.
