The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance on plant equipment. This position is a full-time, hourly non-exempt role reporting to the Machine Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain CNC machines and other plant equipment to keep them in optimal running condition.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, fluid and filter changes, inspections, recordings, and minor adjustments.
* Clean plant equipment while safely working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Disassemble and reassemble machine components, with or without detailed diagrams.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience maintaining mechanical equipment.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Basic math skills.
* Understanding of common hand tools.
* Ability to follow instructions and learn new information.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
