What You'll Do
* Lead and supervise a team of on‑site engineers, supporting performance, training and development
* Oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
* Coordinate daily operations with the Helpdesk team to ensure a timely response to service requests
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work procedures
* Carry out routine audits to maintain high standards of quality, compliance and documentation
* Manage subcontractors and specialist suppliers, from scheduling to quality assurance and safety checks
What You Bring
* HND, NVQ or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Extensive practical experience in building services
* Experience managing a team of engineers
* Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations or Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (desirable)
* Membership of Institute of Leadership and Management, IOSH Managing Safety or similar (desirable)
* Emergency first aid qualification (desirable)
Qualifications and Requirements
* Aged 18 or over
* Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Valid Authorised Person certificates for one or more of the following: LV, Mechanical Services, Confined Spaces, Boiler and Pressure Systems, etc.
* Experience within or around World Heritage Listed properties, buildings and environments (essential)
* Strong technical knowledge and proven team management experience in a formal discipline (e.g. electrical, mechanical)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Numerate and computer literate
