Your new role

Working as an Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance management of a team of 3 across 4 sites. You will proactively pursue process improvements and standardization. You will promote and participate in an environment of strong internal control and excellent customer service, providing leadership and support during periods of significant volume growth.

Your new role (repeated)

Working as an Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will oversee team performance, implement process improvements, and ensure strong internal controls and customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and directing the work of Accounts Payable Associates
2. Leading and mentoring the team, identifying training needs
3. Overseeing goods/invoice receipt variance, query resolution, and accrual processes
4. Reporting on performance metrics such as cash flow, networking capital, and site spend
5. Developing and maintaining standard AP & Payments processes
6. Ensuring prompt invoice payments and supplier statement reconciliations
7. Collaborating on VAT compliance
8. Responding to queries from business units and suppliers
9. Proactively pursuing process improvements and standardization
10. Developing controls for AP and supporting special projects


What you'll need to succeed

Essential Criteria:

* Proven team leadership skills
* Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and banking software
* Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

Desirable Criteria:

* Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, or 3+ years relevant experience
* Financial accounting knowledge
* Cash flow management experience


What you'll get in return

You will work for a global company on a full-time permanent basis. Hours are Monday–Thursday 8am to 5pm, and Friday 8am to 12 noon.
