Consultant in Respiratory Medicine – Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Overview
Join the Respiratory team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, working across both the Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC) and City campuses. The department offers a range of subspecialty services including Severe Asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, ILD, lung cancer, infections and more.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver comprehensive respiratory care across QMC and City campuses, including management of inpatient beds and acute admissions.
* Oversee the Respiratory Assessment Unit (RAU) – a 20 bed unit (4 side rooms) on the City campus.
* Supervise the Advanced Respiratory Care Unit (ARCU) – a 12 bed unit on the QMC campus.
* Provide in‑reach cover to the Emergency Department and acute medical admissions at QMC.
Qualifications
* GMC registration and eligibility to be included on the Specialist Register.
* Sub‑specialty interests welcome; training and mentorship will be provided for candidates with limited experience.

Additional Information
