Job Role : Project Manager
Location : Uk-wide (Frequent travel + overnight stays)
Contract: Full time, Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Project Manager to join a well-established Tier 1 Main Contractor across the Uk working on an Industrial Project.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading overall delivery of the scheme from pre-construction through to final handover. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will take ownership of programme delivery, cost control, quality assurance and safety compliance.
Responsibilities:
Lead the project team and manage day-to-day site operations
Develop and maintain a detailed project programme and ensure timely delivery
Manage subcontractors and supply chain performance
Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
Work closely with commercial, planning and design teams
Build and maintain relationships with the client, consultants and external stakeholders
Manage progress meetings, reporting and documentation
Ensure quality control and snag-free handovers.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing industrial or logistics projects over £50m in value.
Experience working with Tier 1 contractors on large-scale schemes.
Strong understanding of D&B contracts and commercial awareness
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
Full UK driving license
Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management
