If you are studying towards your AAT or have recently completed your BSc/BA/MA/MSc in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent), and have some office experience, data entry, or accounts administration experience, we would love to hear from you.
The company is a well-established national business with a local and head office in Northampton. The office is easily accessible for non-drivers (parking available for drivers).
The team will consist of you (as an Accounts Administrator), six other Accounts Administrators, and the Purchase Ledger Manager within a wider finance team of 20.
Accounts Administrator – Purchase Ledger job duties include:
1. Data entry
2. Purchase ledger invoicing
3. Allocating POs to invoices
4. Setting up POs onto the system
5. Reconciliations
6. Working on ERP accounting system
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Dealing with queries
Person specification:
* Studying towards an AAT or have a relevant Accounting & Finance degree (BSc, BA, MA, MSc) or equivalent
* This role is office-based; you must be able to commute to Northampton during office hours daily
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Willingness to learn
* Positive, can-do attitude
