Your cover teaching responsibilities:
* Mark and assess work taught from your day(s) of cover
* Record lesson development and outline pupil progress
* Guide and direct support staff and utilise the classroom teaching assistant
* Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
* Follow planning to continue a coherent learning journey
* Deliver lessons with enthusiasm!

Requirements of the cover teacher role:
* Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
* Grade C or above (or relevant equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
* 2 references from the last 5 years
* Experience teaching in a UK primary school
* Job history that covers the last 10 years
* An in-date Enhanced DBS on the update service
