Your new role
This Clinical Negligence Lawyer role will see you:
1. Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims of differingplexity and value from inception to settlement
2. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, correspondence and key litigation documents
3. Advise clients clearly and empathetically, managing expectations throughout the life cycle of a claim
4. Liaise with Counsel, medical experts, courts and other third parties
5. Attend client meetings, conferences and hearings where appropriate
6. Proactively manage deadlines, limitation periods and case progression
7. Maintain accurate,pliant and audit-ready files in line with regulatory standards (SRA, Lexcel, AML)
8. Contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed
9. Qualified Solicitor, CILEX or experienced Fee Earner
10. Ideally, 2–6 years’ experience within clinical negligence
11. Proven ability to manage a caseload autonomously
12. Strong understanding of the clinical negligence litigation process and CPR
13. Excellent drafting andmunication skills
14. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
15. Client-focused with a professional, empathetic approach
16. Strong IT skills and experience using case management systems
