THE POSITION: Senior Medical Writer
THE OPPORTUNITY: Join an energetic and growing multidisciplinary team of healthcare communication professionals, developing innovative solutions to client challenges. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Medical Writer with a proven ability for generating and leading clear, accurate and creative work. This is a full-time position based at our global head office in Cheshire, with flexible options for remote working. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Lead the delivery of multiple projects or programmes of work in accordance with individual project briefs and overall account priorities
* Support development of team members by reviewing work, providing constructive feedback, and informal mentoring
* Apply knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry to address client needs, building influential relationships through the application of strategic thinking
* Contribute to account growth and new business development proposals and activities, to secure new business within existing and new accounts
KEY COMPETENCIES:
* High level of drive, motivation and initiative
* Great team player with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
* High level of commercial acumen, enabling active contribution to account growth and business development
* Ability to motivate, lead by example, train, mentor, develop and share best practice

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
* Scientific knowledge and understanding

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Degree (science, preferably life science); PhD or MSc (desirable)
