Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive individual to support our customers in developing their daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and engaging with their community. The role involves encouraging social inclusion, building confidence, resilience, and self-esteem, and working collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies to advocate for and support our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Encourage customers to develop their daily living skills and be active members of their community.
2. Promote social inclusion and help build customers' confidence and self-esteem.
3. Collaborate with statutory and non-statutory agencies, advocating for customers' choices and involvement.
4. Maintain a safe environment, providing support in line with relevant regulations, procedures, and practices.

Candidate Requirements:

1. A caring, approachable nature and a confident, can-do attitude.
2. Ability to keep accurate records and communicate effectively with team members.
3. Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families, and agencies.
4. Experience working as part of a team.
5. A positive, accepting approach to customers with diverse needs.
6. Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
