Full Time Learning Support Assistant Grade D

Salary range Grade D £29,763-£31,074). Term time only (40 weeks)
32.5 hours/week (8:30-15:30)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring and supportive team in our outstanding school (March 2025). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children, particularly those who may need additional support to thrive in their learning.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
·Support pupils with a range of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
·Work alongside class teachers to help deliver high-quality teaching and learning
·Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment rooted in Catholic values
·Assist with the preparation of resources and learning activities
·Encourage the development of pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and spiritual growth
We are looking for someone who:
·Has experience working with children in a school or similar setting (experience with SEN is desirable)
·Is patient, compassionate, and able to build strong relationships with children
·Has good literacy and numeracy skills
·Is committed to upholding the Catholic ethos and values of our school (you do not need to be Catholic to apply, but must be supportive of the school’s mission)
·Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with pupils, staff and families
