Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Care Assistant to join our team in Reading. This role is ideal for someone with a heart for care and the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly individuals. You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their daily routines, offering both practical help and emotional support to ensure their well-being and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care with dignity and respect, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Plan and prepare meals according to specific dietary needs.
* Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility.
* Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that promote emotional well-being and mental stimulation.
* Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and comfortable living environment.
* Facilitate appointments and social outings, providing transportation when necessary.
* Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or home environment.
Hours:
Part-time position with a requirement to work some weekends and evenings on a rotational basis.
