About the Role: Are you a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager with a passion for supporting children with complex needs and challenging behaviors? We are looking for a dynamic and empathetic Deputy Manager to join our Children’s Residential Services team. In this role, you will work closely with the Home Manager and wider team to provide exceptional care and support for young people with a range of behavioral challenges. You will play a pivotal role in creating a safe and nurturing environment, where children can thrive and work toward positive outcomes. Your expertise will help guide and support staff in managing difficult situations, promoting positive behaviors, and fostering personal growth for each young person in our care. About You: Previous experience working as a Deputy Manager or in a senior role within a residential setting for children and young people. Strong experience and understanding of working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors, including those with trauma histories. In-depth knowledge of behavioral management strategies and therapeutic interventions. A compassionate and patient approach to care, with a commitment to supporting children to achieve positive outcomes. Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team. A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare). A sound understanding of safeguarding procedures, child protection, and relevant legislation.
