Overview
We’re the world's number one tourism business, operating in around 180 destinations worldwide, and are looking for an eager, ambitious and innovative Social Media & Content Placement Student to support the First Choice team. This role will involve supporting the day‑to‑day running of the Social Media and Content teams and various touchpoints across the business in line with the Marketing functions.
Responsibilities
* Support the Social Media, Content, and Marketing teams in the general running of our owned brand channels.
* Schedule and publish content, ideate, source, and file content.
* Assist with influencer campaign logistics and contract support.
* Keep up to date with current social trends and support ideation of new social content.
* Assist in content creation and support influencer logistics (e.g., booking shoots).
About You
* Commercially aware with a passion for sales, merchandising, marketing or social media.
* A proactive self‑starter, strong team player, and able to build lasting relationships internally and externally.
* Creative thinker who is customer‑obsessed.
* Well‑developed communication and analytical skills.
* Structured, focused, and enthusiastic about learning.
* Proactive, curious, conscientious, and confident under pressure.
* Ability to juggle priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
* Seeks to understand others’ perspectives.
* Hunger for learning, with a minimum GCSE grade 4 or C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and commitment to completing a placement year (starting in 2026) as part of your third year at university.
* Proficient user of the MS Office suite.
* Loves holidays – we’re passionate about the full experience gained through travel.
