Office: Nottingham
Hours
Full‑time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, with Hybrid working
Duties
* Lead architectural projects (Up to £10m in value) across multiple sectors, including sensitive/secure defence schemes.
* Interpret complex client briefs and deliver strategic, compliant design responses.
* Act as Lead Consultant, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, external consultants and contractors.
* Produce site appraisals, feasibility studies, planning applications and detailed designs for competitive tender.
* Manage tender processes, value engineering, post-tender analysis and recommendations.
* Serve as Project Manager / Contract Administrator through delivery: site progress, technical compliance, QA and financial performance.
Requirements
* ARB Registered and Qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years' experience post qualification
* Proven experience in defence or other secure, policy-driven environments is beneficial
* Ability to secure UK security clearance to SC level is essential
* Fully proficient user of Revit and AutoCAD
* Excellent design experience from feasibility to technical delivery (Riba Stages 1 - 5)
* Comfortable delivering within client-prescribed frameworks, QA systems and sector standards (e.g., MOD / JSP)
* Great communication skillset and a supportive and collaborative mentor - supporting BD activity, resource planning, profitability and cross‑office teamwork
