What You'll Own
* Drive product concepts through process design, scale‑up and manufacturing readiness
* Lead factory trials end‑to‑end – scheduling, cross‑functional coordination, execution and reporting
* Define and validate processing parameters, packaging settings and all variables required for successful scale‑up
* Evaluate and validate new equipment to ensure it delivers the expected product quality and throughput
* Ensure all new formulations, ingredients and BOMs are correctly set up for the line
* Prepare trial documentation, summarise learnings and make recommendations for next steps
* Develop or update SOPs and train operators before handover to the production team
* Support launch readiness – including yield analysis, validation records and QAS approvals
* Supervise first production runs and provide troubleshooting and optimisation support
* Coordinate product launch timelines with Planning, Ops and Product teams
* Conduct post‑launch reviews to drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
* Strong experience leading factory‑scale trials in a product development setting
* Proven track record scaling products from pilot to full production
* Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret results and clearly justify decisions
* Confident communicator and proactive problem‑solver
* Able to work independently within defined project scopes, escalating risks where needed
* Experience producing high‑quality documentation suitable for stage‑gate approval
Qualifications
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Process Engineering
* HACCP & Food Safety certification
* 5+ years in FMCG or a related manufacturing industry
