This full-time role is based in Omagh, operating Monday to Friday, within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Ensure full alignment with company HSE standards and ensure site operations comply with all relevant environmental and safety regulations. Monitor and report HSE performance metrics and contribute to site-level reporting and audits. Facilitate and lead internal safety forums and cross-functional HSE meetings. Support the incident and claims process, including coordination with relevant teams and documentation. Maintain and update safety protocols, risk assessments, and environmental practices regularly. Play an active role in improvement projects linked to workplace safety and sustainability. Conduct detailed investigations into near misses, accidents, and environmental events, producing actionable recommendations. Serve as a liaison for external agencies and support insurance, occupational health, and regulatory engagement. Assess site training needs and deliver relevant health, safety, and environmental training sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g. engineering, logistics, operations) to embed safe practices and support risk-reduction initiatives. What You'll Need to Succeed A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety. Experience in a similar safety/environmental role within manufacturing or industrial settings. Up-to-date understanding of HSE legislation and compliance requirements. Familiarity with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and ergonomic evaluations (e.g. DSE assessments).
