As a Lighting Technician, you will work closely with the wider team and the majority of the workload will consist of travelling and working on-site. About The Role
The main purpose of our Lighting Technicians is carrying out inspection and testing services, mainly on street lighting for the highways industries across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Structural inspection and testing of highway lighting columns
* Communicating and liaison with clients and colleagues
* Recording accurately electronic test results to a high standard for reporting
* Working with our UKAS accredited systems
* Data collection of highway assets
* Corrosion investigation
* Be the face of Kiwa CMT when on site with customers
What You Need
* Hold a Full UK Valid driving license, as you will be using company vehicles to travel and from client sites
* Be able to work with a varied workload
* Demonstrate an interest in the field of work
* Communication is key for this role; you will be able to make an impact and work well within a team
* Willing to work away from home
* Experience in a similar or cross over role (desirable)
* Holds a HERS ECS card and the HEA NVQ level 2 qualification (desirable)
What can you expect from us in return?
* £25,389 - £28,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities
* Generous Annual Leave - Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
* 38.75 hours per week - Monday to Friday, field-based role
