We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Commercial Business Partner to join our finance team and support the operational heart of our organisation. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior operational leaders - helping shape business strategy, drive financial performance, and ensure contract profitability. You'll use your financial expertise to influence key decisions, from investment planning to pricing models, always with a clear eye on delivering better services for our clients. This is a full-time permanent role, working from our office in Aberdeen. What You Will Do As a Commercial Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role in driving performance and growth. Your responsibilities will include: Partnering with the Senior Management Team to support strategic and operational goals. Providing financial insight into business decisions, including: bids, tenders, and investments. Delivering insightful monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Developing and tracking KPIs to measure business performance. Supporting pricing, costing, and investment evaluations to improve profitability. Leading the annual budget and planning process with operational teams. Mentoring non-financial colleagues to improve financial understanding across the business. Building strong internal relationships to foster collaboration and shared success. Identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and financial improvement. Leading, developing, and inspiring your finance team to deliver excellence. About You We’re looking for someone who’s not just good with numbers, but also passionate about making a difference through strategic finance. You’ll bring a mix of commercial acumen, leadership, and people skills to the table. You will: Be a fully qualified accountant with strong commercial experience. Have a proven track record of partnering with senior operational leaders to drive results. Thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments with multiple priorities. Be confident translating complex financial data into meaningful actions. Possess strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems expertise. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Show initiative, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset. Be a strong mentor and team leader who develops talent and inspires others. Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
