We are looking to appoint two Mental Health Advisors to join our expanding Mental Health Advisory Team within the Student Counselling Service (SCS). The role involves working 1-1 and in groups with students, focusing on triage, assessment, formulations, care planning, liaison, risk management, and risk reduction.

What will you be doing?
You will support students with complex mental health issues through triage, assessments, risk formulations, and care plans. You will deliver individual and group sessions, create session materials, and liaise with internal and external partners. The team meets regularly for case coordination, development, and supervision.
Requirements
You should be a qualified Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist with current registration and a professional body that maintains ethical standards and ongoing professional development. You must have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and understand the needs of a diverse student population.
The role is on-site, with working hours from 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 9-6:30 on Tuesday. The minimum contact hours are 21 hours or more to accommodate meetings, liaison, and development activities.
