Overview

Required for November 2025 (Minimum 2 hours on Thursdays and up to 10 hours per week available, Term Time Only). We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated, highly organized, and experienced fencing coach to work within our successful fencing programme and busy Games Department. It is essential that applicants are on the British Fencing coaching register.


Responsibilities

The safeguarding responsibilities of the post include:

* child protection, discipline, health and safety
* promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact


Requirements and Conditions

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children. The School is a registered charity (Charity Number 1148512).

The successful candidate will join a thriving Games Department and fencing programme. Term Time Only with a minimum of 2 hours on Thursdays and up to 10 hours per week.
