Job Description
We're working on the behalf of an established business looking for a Finance Manager to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial reporting whilst supporting strategic decision making. Duties will include:
* Providing financial advice on all matters
* Preparation of annual accounts for audit by Company Accountants, accruals and prepayments, debtors and creditors, income and expenditure. Preparation of audit schedules, liaising with audit team
* Maintaining Sage 50 to record all income and expenditure, preparation of trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
* Maintaining fixed asset register and calculating depreciations
* Management of bank accounts / investments
* Preparation of annual Budgets to determine levels of spending and advising / presenting to Finance Committee
* Monitoring income and expenditure against budget throughout the year
* Attendance to finance meetings with senior team
* Other general finance duties as needed
You will need previous experience in financial accounting, budgeting / forecasting and ideally be fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW. You will need strong planning and organisation skills and be confident communicating financial information.
