By integrating innovation and experience, we tackle complex challenges to shape a better world for everyone.

We are seeking a talented Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team in London. We welcome professionals with strong technical experience to contribute to our dynamic, global strategy and design consultancy.

As we continue to grow, we invite passionate individuals to contribute to large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, including data centres and other cutting-edge facilities. These projects are driven by our core values of integration, optimisation, and standardisation.

As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to develop innovative, high-performance, optimised designs. Your experience and expertise will play a key role in supporting project success through collaboration, technical delivery, and efficient, high-quality solutions.

THE ROLE

You will play a key role in the mechanical design and delivery of projects in the UK and internationally, working closely with other disciplines including Architecture, Structures, Civils, Electrical and Sustainability, as well as directly with clients, to develop innovative and practical design solutions.

* Contribute to the production and delivery of mechanical designs as part of a multidisciplinary design team, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
* Develop mechanical solutions for data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, and large-scale industrial facilities.
* Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and clients to achieve integrated and efficient project outcomes.
* Apply sustainable design principles, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies, where appropriate.
* Work across multiple projects and support coordination between disciplines to ensure timely and effective delivery.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute positively to team development and knowledge sharing.
* Use a solution-based approach to solve complex engineering problems and develop high-quality technical solutions.

WHAT WE NEED

* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
* Strong experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
* Good knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
* Experience in the production and delivery of mechanical design within a multidisciplinary design environment.
* Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies.
* Strong understanding of mechanical technical design, including calculations, system strategy, coordination, controls and commissioning, and technical delivery.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
* A strong interest in professional development and a commitment to continuous learning.
* Chartered with a relevant institution, or working towards chartership, would be beneficial.
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks would be advantageous.

ABOUT YOU

You are well organised, collaborative, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a solution-focused approach to engineering challenges.

* Well organised and disciplined.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach.
