About the role
St Clare’s is seeking two passionate Teachers to support student engagement and wellbeing. These fixed-term roles for the 2026 school year focus on early intervention, pastoral care, attendance support, and social-emotional development. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate with staff and families to implement evidence-based practices like PB4L, CPS, and Trauma-Informed approaches. Ideal candidates will have experience in behaviour support, pastoral care, and building strong relationships with students and families.The two opportunities available are:
1. Primary Teacher- Student Engagement- Prep- Year 3
2. Primary Teacher- Student Engagement Year 4-6

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other
8. Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
9. Current Driver’s Licence
10. Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
11. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
