PCV (Bus) Driver – Surrey Location: Surrey Salary: £40,000 per annum Accommodation: Optional on-site shared mobile home (£74.60 per week, inclusive of all bills) A full-time opportunity has arisen for a professional and safety-conscious PCV (Bus) Driver to support a busy agricultural operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of personnel between sites, as well as occasional trips to supermarkets and other locations. Key Responsibilities Transport workers between sites and on scheduled trips in a safe and timely manner Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately Maintain accurate and compliant driving records Comply with drivers’ hours rules (EC 561/06) and Working Time Directive regulations Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy and maintained to a high standard Observe all applicable road traffic legislation including speed, weight and height restrictions Ensure safe loading of passengers Carry out occasional ad hoc duties as requested by management Requirements Valid UK driving licence with category D entitlement Driver CPC qualification Valid Digital Tachograph Card Experience conducting vehicle pre-use checks and driving PCVs Understanding of road transport law relevant to PCV operations High standard of personal responsibility for vehicle condition and passenger safety What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 per year On-site accommodation available in a shared mobile home (£74.60 per week including all bills) A varied and responsible role in a supportive working environment
