What you will do:
12. Responsible for transporting material to and from customer sites and other local locations.
13. Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.
14. Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
15. Consolidates items and skids to maximize space in the trailer using a forklift or pump truck to load material.
16. Straps and/or secures material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
17. Delivers orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary
18. Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules.
19. Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery
20. Assist in the Warehouse between deliveries.
What you will bring:
21. Valid DZ license required.
22. Experience with flatbed vehicles/strapping and securing materials.
23. Clean driver’s abstract is required. (No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years)
24. Exceptional customer service and communication skills
25. Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
26. Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
27. Forklift certified or ability to be certified
28. WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
29. Certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods considered an asset
30. Motorized Material Handling Equipment Certification considered an asset
