Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer (minimum 2 years’ PQE) to join a busy and expanding Conveyancing department in Skipton, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent Residential Conveyancer job offering hybrid working, flexible hours, free parking and a competitive salary depending on experience, within a friendly and collaborative team. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Residential Conveyancer will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions. Your responsibilities as a Residential Conveyancer will include:
* Managing sale, purchase, remortgage and transfer of equity files.
* Title checking and raising/responding to enquiries.
* Exchanging contracts and completing transactions.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
* Submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
* Handling leasehold matters and liaising with landlords and managing agents.
* Undertaking searches and complying with AML requirements.
* Supporting the development and promotion of the Conveyancing department.
Person Specification
* Minimum 2 years’ PQE in Residential Conveyancing, as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer or highly experienced Fee‑Earner (substantial years of experience).
* Experience managing a varied caseload independently.
* Strong knowledge of Land Registry procedures and the CML Handbook.
* Excellent client care and communication skills.
* A proactive, organised and team‑focused approach.
