Location: Liverpool (Hybrid)


Deputy Service Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Deputy Service Lead to assist in managing our adult services throughout Liverpool, which include a care home for individuals with acquired brain injuries, a supported living facility, and a community support day program.


Role Overview

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Service Lead to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care in all environments. You will oversee a team of Team Leaders, uphold the standards and values of Nugent within the Liverpool City Region, and supervise the daily management of services. You will ensure compliance with regulations, serve as Registered Manager when necessary, and empower staff to achieve optimal outcomes. Deputies will represent the Service Lead as needed and play a key role in achieving strategic goals.


Responsibilities

* Collaborate with the Service Lead to deliver person‑centred care.
* Oversee and support Team Leaders across multiple settings.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.
* Act as Registered Manager where required.
* Lead strategic initiatives and represent the Service Lead on behalf of the organisation.


Qualifications & Experience

* Experience in adult social care with a passion for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support.
* Strong leadership skills and a good understanding of CQC standards.
* Organised, compassionate and confident in supporting staff and individuals with complex needs.
* Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is essential; Level 5 or willingness to work towards it preferred.


Hours & Contract

Contract: 39 hours per week (Hybrid)


Salary

This range is provided by Nugent. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
