Overview
Glasgow City Council is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented clerical officer to join the Customer and Business Services mailroom team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of incoming and outgoing mail services in the Document Management Unit (DMU).
Responsibilities
* Scan and digitally index mail and documents, primarily revenue and benefit mail, for citizen and business accounts on core computer systems.
* Provide various clerical tasks as required, including photocopying and data entry.
* Support day-to-day mailroom operations and maintain accurate records.
* Receive comprehensive training and supervisory support.
* Hybrid working arrangement available.
