Brand & PR Manager
Daintie Delicates, PODBOSS & LVP Fulltime | Onsite | London
Permanent employed role only. No freelancers, contractors or agencies please.
We are looking for a Brand & PR Manager who can help get our brands seen, talked about, filmed, sampled, trusted and remembered.
We’re an entrepreneurial Aussie family, originally from Melbourne, running quite a few businesses across the US, Australia and now the UK and Europe. We’re not an agency, but you’ll get to work across a genuinely diverse range of products and brands. You’ll primarily be working with Dacie Clean, the detergent company of the family, run by Dakota (a small brunette in her late twenties with a big passion for dancing and an even bigger one for solving laundry problems nobody else wants to talk about). She opened the London office at Westbourne Studios in January 2026 to push some of our brands from the US into the UK & Europe. So we’re still very much early days… You’ll be the second of our London creative crew, soon joined by our Ecommerce Manager, Brand Strategist & Copywriter, and Sales Manager. We’re hoping to find the right people to grow with and build a really fun, supportive and chill culture.
This is a role in a startup, so it needs initiative, resourcefulness, curiosity and a healthy ability to just get things done, with plenty of variety and room to make an impact. We like people who think creatively, find resourceful solutions, and occasionally achieve surprisingly good results with little more than determination and a decent WiFi connection.
We’re after someone full time, but we offer up to 2 months a year remote work if you want to travel… and we’ll even shout you the coworking space fees while you’re off adventuring!
Bring your mates too!
After three years adapting our US products for Europe, they’re finally arriving in the UK. So that means it’s time to ramp up the team!
As part of this expansion, we are also currently hiring for:
If you know talented people who would be a great fit, please mention in a blue box at the top righthand corner of your application that you would like to recommend or work alongside them.
Get the brand seen, talked about, filmed, sampled, trusted and remembered.
Daintie Delicates is a laundry detergent that removes period stains. It’s both gentle, effective and stigma breaking. (www.daintiedelicates.com) … we won a shiny silver award last year.
PODBOSS is wholesale, convenience sized and bulk detergent. (www.thepodboss.com)
LVP sells the laundry vending machines that Podboss goes inside of as well as other laundrette supplies. (www.laundryvendingproducts.com)
Across all three we’re building niche, practical consumer and trade brands with clear positioning and growth potential.
Beyond detergents, our wider family of products spans some pretty diverse industries from caravans and arborist machinery to concrete mixers and medical/lab products so over time there may be chances to support other brands in the family too.
You will help build awareness, credibility and recognition across Daintie, PODBOSS and LVP through content, partnerships, PR, sampling, creator relationships and brand building initiatives.
This role has two main functions:
For Daintie and PODBOSS, you will help oversee organic content across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. For LVP, the focus is more trade visibility, LinkedIn presence, industry relationships and B2B awareness among laundrette owners and operators.
Your time will not be split equally across the brands. Daintie will take up the largest share of the role, PODBOSS will need regular attention, and LVP will be more occasional and trade focused.
You will work closely with the Founder, Brand Designer, Ecommerce Manager and Brand Strategist/Copywriter, as well as our US videographer, freelance scriptwriter and two on‑call UK videographers for more professional campaigns.
You do not need to have done every single part of this role before, but you do need to be curious, socially confident, quick to learn and comfortable making things happen.
You don’t need to have done all of this before. You need to be curious, socially confident, quick, and the kind of person who makes things happen without being handed them.
PR or media relations experience; TikTok Shop, affiliates or creator marketplaces; content for physical products; background in consumer goods, wellness, beauty, hospitality or trade; sampling, gifting or partnership programmes; coordinating videographers.
This isn’t a role where you manage a social team from above. You’ll have support: brand design, copywriting, scriptwriting, videography… but it’s hands on.
We need energy, appetite and comfort being visible. Someone proactive who’ll get out there, film things, talk to people, test ideas and capture real moments like trade show chaos and founder‑led experiments.
Not someone who wants to stay quiet behind the scenes.
We need charismatic confidence, warmth and a sense of humour, because the best content comes from making ordinary moments feel human, engaging and funny. Honestly, once you see how big our fluffy mascot is next to our 5'3 founder, the content writes itself.
With this job sometimes you’ll be filming onsite in a hostel laundry, or interviewing a local laundrette owner. Sometimes it’s the imperfect, non‑polished side of running a biz or building a brand… like covering a trade show and the Founder deciding she could probably rewire our broken‑down claw machine five minutes before doors open, with absolutely no experience. Finding the funny in the raw.
You don’t need to be an influencer or a professional presenter. Just socially confident, curious, a great storyteller and willing to give things a go.
Fulltime, onsite in London (Westbourne Studios, W10), with some travel within the UK for shoots.
Up to 2 months a year remote work if you want to travel with coworking fees on us.
CV: If you would prefer to attach a portfolio rather than a CV, that is totally okay. Just make sure somewhere in there is the word detergent so we know you read this. Feel free to include examples of content, campaigns, partnerships, PR activity or brand building work you’ve created or contributed to.
Cover Letter: Please do not send a traditional corporate cover letter… have fun with it. Make us laugh!
We’re much more interested in who you are, how you think, what gives you energy, and why this role genuinely interests you. Think FaceTime voicenote energy rather than a formal CV. Bonus points if you use your worst Hinge prompt (professionally). Send your intro as a one page PDF, short presentation, Notion style page, a literal video, or any format that feels natural. Don’t overthink it.
