Position Summary
This position provides support and assistance to assigned faculty members and the Administrative Assistant to the department on an as‑needed basis. Responsibilities primarily include data management, document creation, internet or library research, copying, scanning, poster creation and web‑site work.
Major Preferred
Psychology, Biopsychology, Criminal Justice, or Sociology & Anthropology – Major or Minor

Experience Preferred Skills, Characteristics Required for Position.
Qualifications
A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Outlook, Canvas and Internet use. Candidate should be self‑motivated, organized, creative and dependable. Good problem‑solving skills are a plus, and interest in leadership to support our department and new majors.

Primary Duties
* Assist the assigned faculty member with class or research‑related tasks.
* Manage and maintain course documents and data (syllabi, handouts, assignments, grades).
* Generate and update spreadsheets (class attendance, completed assignments, etc.).
* Complete internet or library research.
* Create/update/enhance PowerPoint presentations.
* Design fliers/handouts, etc.
* Scan and photocopy.
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
* Other duties as assigned.
* Potential duties could involve the following: design bulletin board posters, create department newsletter, assist with department Open Houses and Admissions Events and materials, revise website information, assist with department event planning and execution, brainstorm innovative future projects for department.
