Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging and informative Music lessons across the curriculum, adhering to the National Curriculum. Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages exploration, practical skills development, and a deep appreciation for music. Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of music theory, performance techniques, and musical history. Prepare students for external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable) and support their musical development beyond the classroom. Contribute to the growth of the Music department by collaborating with colleagues and participating in school-wide events and performances. The Ideal Candidate: Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music or a closely related discipline. Demonstrates a strong musical background, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
