Mobile Fabric Technician

About the Role
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and involves providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do
* Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
* Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
* Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
* Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
* Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
* Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange information clearly and concisely.
* Impact the team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.
* Deliver your own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
* High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
* Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
* Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
