Overview
We are looking for a PAYROLL SPECIALIST to support our client with a temporary position for up to 2 months. The Payroll Specialist supports the day-to-day processing of the payroll service, ensuring that the service is delivered in an accurate, efficient and timely manner, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service at all times. The Payroll Specialist is a key component in ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day processing of the payroll service to ensure it is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time, with a strong focus on customer service.
* Ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* Working knowledge of ADP Global View
* Awareness and knowledge of current payroll related legislation and HMRC guidelines
* Experience and knowledge of occupational pension schemes
* Experience and knowledge of Time & Attendance systems

* Awareness of confidential information and matters handled on daily basis, knowledge of GDPR requirements in handling personal data of colleagues

* Ability to contribute to team objectives and to sharing of knowledge and skills
* Understanding and awareness of company policies, procedures, and local site agreements and how they can affect payroll processing
Experience and Qualifications Required
* At least 1 year payroll experience in a fast paced, similar role
* Strong computer literacy, particular knowledge and skill set in using Excel and other MO applications
* CIPP qualified, working toward or happy to undertake
