Location: Midlands
Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

Responsibilities of the Water Hygiene Technician
* Monitoring inspections involving temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, and logbook auditing.
* Undertaking monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
* Using PDA and web-based electronic logbook systems for inspections.
* Performing other water hygiene-related tasks including monitoring, maintenance, and remediation works.
* Traveling across multiple sites within the region as part of the role.

About You
Essential Criteria
1. Relevant experience in a similar role.
2. Ability to pass a DBS check.
3. Current Full UK Driver’s Licence.
Desirable Criteria
1. Experience in water system remediation/maintenance works.
2. City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training.
3. Working knowledge of legislation and guidance such as HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations.
4. Experience in maintenance, servicing, and testing of Chemical Water Treatment services.
