As Night Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and secure operation while delivering exceptional service to our guests. The Night Receptionist role is ideal for someone who thrives in a calm night-time environment, is highly organised, and enjoys taking ownership of the guest experience. What you’ll be doing: Welcoming late-arriving guests and managing overnight check-ins and check-outs Acting as the main point of contact for guests throughout the night, handling requests and enquiries professionally Completing night audit procedures and ensuring all financial and operational reports are accurate Preparing the Front Office for the morning shift, including administrative and operational tasks Maintaining a strong presence in the lobby to ensure guest comfort, safety and security Communicating effectively with housekeeping, security and other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations Handling guest concerns or issues calmly and efficiently Ensuring the reception area and public spaces remain presentable and welcoming throughout the night What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a hotel front office, guest services, or hospitality role A confident and professional approach to guest service Strong organisational and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during overnight shifts Good attention to detail, particularly when handling reports and administrative tasks Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera or similar PMS is advantageous Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays Salary: £26,795 p/a service charge, plus benefits This is an opportunity to make your mark on Shoreditch.
